I thought she became a cat person, but apparently not. So here is what I know about her with dogs. She has had taken care of a foster dog, a pitbull named Tammy, for not so short amount of a period. Fortunately I have hung out with both of them and had an opportunity to witness how happy Tammy was with Mariam. I had seen pictures of Tammy while she was at the shelter, and Tammy I saw when I visited her apartment was healthier, prettier, more handsome, energetic, and well behaved. (I know! Pretty AND handsome? When is the last time that such thing happened? Tom Cruise?) But probably more importantantly, here's what Tammy herself had to say, "Woof. Woof woof woof. WOOF." Ok it might sound a little too nice and makes you wonder whether that's not some forced, hostage type of situation speech. But I'm sure that the happiness and gratitude in Tammy's speech is actually an understatement. I was also impressed with how Mariam dealt with her in regards of balancing between affection and strictness. So, 10/10 would recommend.
