I work for a non-profit organization caring for wildlife. Caring for animals is my passion, no matter what species! Professionally, I provide food and medication to sick, injured, and abandoned wildlife. I can administer medications, have PT experience, and a little experience with operant conditioning. Personally, I have owned cats, dogs, and herps all my life and pride myself on being a good pet owner. In my own home, I care for a cat, a german shepherd, and a box turtle every day. Everyday I care for hundreds of animals so one more pet should be no problem! My work schedule changes depending on the season but if I make a commitment I always follow through! I do work full-time. Most of my shifts are 8 hours during the middle of the day leaving my morning and evenings free for walks and drop-ins. I try to get eyes on every pet at every visit and send photos whether requested or not. Feeding and caring for the animals is the easy part. Providing owner's with the peace of mind that their family members are well cared for can be more difficult.
