Hi! I am a college student and have worked in a variety of settings with animals. This experience was gathered on two different continents. I worked in a veterinary clinic for the past two summers during the summer break. Beginning in 2015 I pet and house-sat for family and friends, at times with multiple pets. These ranged from a long weekend to two weeks. While pet-sitting I make sure to spend time with the animals through walks and lots of ear scratches. During these periods I often send the pet-parent pictures because I love receiving pictures of my pup. I am comfortable administering medication and have done so in a clinical setting. Beyond giving medication I will monitor the overall health of the pet if you have any major concerns, especially with geriatric pets.
