Hi my name is Mariah! I have owned and cared for animals since I was a child. I am passionate about animal welfare and and have worked at the animal shelter for over 2 years. I know how to communicate with animals in a special way & am very receptive to their individual needs and personalities . I can adapt to special needs animals such as those with high anxiety, vision, hearing loss or specific medication regimes or dietary needs. I am a dog person but I love all animals! That being said, while I am comfortable house sitting and walking any breed, I am not comfortable walking extra large dogs unless very well trained on a leash (non-dog reactive, etc.). Mariah did a wonderful job for us!
Mariah was a fantastic house sitter for our dog. Plenty of walks and play time, affection and attention, and lots of communication. We loved getting videos and photos as part of the updates. She’s a great houseguest. We hadn’t used a house sitter before and were a little nervous, but the care she had for our dog made it so much easier for us to get away and relax for a few days. Will definitely work with her again!
We were 100% happy with how Mariah kept our dog entertained. She went over and beyond to take the dog with her different places while keeping us updated with fun photos. We'd highly recommend her as someone you can fully trust with your pet and property.
We felt at complete ease with our fur babies in Mariah’s care. She is an excellent communicator and checked in frequently with updates about our puppies. Mariah walked them often sent a steady stream of pictures and videos of our dogs. She enjoyed playing with them and kept up with their high energy/big dog personalities! She even vacuumed under the couch and retrieved toys from the “toy graveyard.” We will definitely ask Mariah to care for our dogs in the future!

I love to go for hikes so I would be happy to take your dog or pets for a walk along a trail if there are any in your area. Or a walk in the surrounding neighborhood works great too.
