Pet care experience
Apart from my absolute love from animals, I have had lots of experience over the years. I currently work professionally as a positive reinforcement dog trainer. My official title is, “Puppy Specialist”! I am comfortable caring for puppies, adult dogs, and seniors. Before this I worked at an animal hospital as a vet tech. I have been pet sitting for neighbors, friends and family my entire life. Animals are my passion and I take great care and special attention when it comes to them!

Mariah is a graduate of FSU with a Masters in sociology and psychology, but because of her love for animals she train's dogs. She has loved dogs since she was old enough to walk. Mariah currently has four spoiled dogs and two cats. She loves people, and animals whom love her in return. You could not find a better person to take care of your animals.
Mariah has been a dog trainer for a couple of years and knows her way around animals. There is no person I would trust more with my fur babies than Mariah. She has multiple animals herself and treats them like children. Mariah will provide pets with the best care money can buy.

I follow instructions very well and am very communicative so that I can know exactly what the animal needs. I can crate your dog if needed, keep animals separated if needed, make sure any medication gets taken, make sure all the pet’s needs are met, assess basic health if needed, offer play time, and put the overall health, safety, and wellbeing of the pet first!!

Any and all information is very welcome!! Please let me know of any behavioral concerns, such as fear, animal or human aggression, reactivity on walks, etc., as well as any medical concerns. I will not hesitate to ask any questions if needed! :)
A typical day
This will depend on each dog! For the more energetic dogs and puppies, there are lots of games we can play! I am always looking for tiny training opportunities in my interactions with dogs and puppies. For walks I encourage lots of sniffing and I am willing to practice some loose leash walking with your pupperoni. Some pets just prefer to hang out quietly together. I will meet the animal where they are at.

If you don’t see a time that works for you on my Calendar, please message me and we can talk about a few other options. I have 4 dogs, 2 cats, and a horse of my own so I get tons of daily practice caring for animals. I have a very flexible schedule and I’d be happy swing by your home for check ins, meal times, or walks, with a potential mini training session added if needed! Just let me know what you really need. :)
