Pet care experience
I’ve owned many different animals growing up, parrots, bunnies, cats & dogs. I have years of experience doing at home dog sitting, and even sitting for farm animals as well. Caring for animals is one of my passions :) I know what it’s like to trust someone else to take care of your fur baby, & will provide pics and updates while I’m with them. I can no longer offer at home sitting in your time as I have a dog at home now, unless she can come as well. Your dogs are welcome to stay at my home if they are good with dogs& cats. I have lots of yard space and trails right behind my home.

Mariah is very patient and reliable. She has a gentle nature and works really well with my very shy rescue dog. She communicates throughout her visit leaving by you feeling that your fur baby is well cared for. Would highly recommend her services.
Mariah did a great job taking care of my dog. She took him for a walk and played with him, sent me photos and an update. I appreciate her great communication and will definitely use her in the future. She was instantly comfortable with Gunnar, and he with her. I highly recommend Mariah!
Mariah really came through for us in a time of major need when we booked her only 1 day before our 10 day overseas trip (the other sitter cancelled without notice). Right from the meet/greet I knew she would be great. She put us at ease with her sweet and caring nature. She was great with our chickens, fish, and two cats, one of which needed several twice daily medications and was quite sick suddenly before we left, but is much better now thanks to Mariah. Mariah gave super helpful updates and followed our care instructions perfectly. Would book her again!

if your dog is good with other dogs they are welcome at my home, I have a one year old lab mix who loves to play! We have trails right behind my house. If at your home I would exercise them as you normally would, at places that they are familiar with.

The only important things for me to know are how the dogs are around people and other animals. If they have any injuries that I should be aware of. If they need more mild exercise etc..
A typical day
I have acres of nature trails connected to my yard. Which is where I love taking my dog for walks as well. If sitting at your home I would find whatever trails are near you, or walk around the neighborhood if that’s what they are used to. I like to bring treats and a toy for the dog or cats I’m sitting so they know I’m a friend, so do let me know if there’s anything they can’t have.

I currently work part time from home, so I can easily fit pet sitting into my schedule. I am available to do just walking, or overnights/multiple days.
