Pet care experience
I was part of the Rover community for many years until I took a small break to start my family and move into our first home. Now I am back and ready to work with a whole new neighborhood of critters. I went to school at ISU for animal science and have had many years of experience in the animal industry (see below). Now that I am a work from home mother, I am excited for any excuse to get out of the house to see the animals of the neighborhood. I hope that I can become the go to person for any neighbors that are out of town or need a quick drop-by when they are running late. Additional Facts: - I own 2 dogs, 3 cats, and a snake of my own. - I have 2 years of experience working for a vets clinic (Can administer meds.) - I have worked with service animals and specially trained K9s. - I am available short notice and often on days not listed. Took my animal reactive pup on a walk & made sure she was well cared for. Came to meet our pup before the drop in, helped ease my nerves of leaving our dog with a sitter!

We took a quick trip out of town and just needed quick drop-ins to ensure the fuzzballs were safe and healthy. Mariah went above and beyond. She showed up as promised and snuggled both of them. I didn't know how our dog would react to a new person without us around - she made a new friend in Mariah! Thank you, Mariah!

A typical day
Playing with toys and tricks. Pups can enjoy a good belly rub and cats can enjoy whatever they permit. Multiple field trips outside to different places. Walks are primarily down the street or to the park.

Availability
I work full-time from home with my young son. I can be available short notice even when I don't have availablilites posted. I am available after 4pm M-F and all day on the weekends.
