Pet care experience
*Please note that I recently adopted a pup of my own in December 2020- Remus is a neutered male and 1 year old (as of Feb 2021) lab/border collie mix, and the sweetest play pal!* Hi, I’m Mariah! Dogs and cats have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember... they aren’t just pets, they are family members! When you trust me with your furry loved one, I promise to love them as my own and make sure they are at ease and well cared for. I am the go-to pet sitter whenever my friends are out of town, I currently spend my free time at a local dog rescue (Safe Hands Animal Rescue) and served as a cat volunteer during college, and I love to exercise outdoors- your pup will love it too! Your home and your pet are in good hands with me. I have had a yellow Labrador, St. Bernard, Rottweiler, and German Shorthaired Pointer throughout my life, and have spent plenty of time loving on my friends’ dogs (and even those I pass on the sidewalk!). I have also had a Tabby cat and spent much of my free time as a cat socialization volunteer at an animal rescue in college. I am providing these services as I love dogs and cats and know how special they are to you; I’d prefer they are comfortable in their own home while you are away instead of at a boarding facility or daycare where they aren’t the center of attention! —For sitting experiences, I will be sure to spend plenty of time with your dog or cat to make them feel loved and cared for while you are away!

Mariah was outstanding! She kept us informed with pictures and quick notes each day. We never worried about our dog, or our home, for one minute. If he could talk, I know our Beagle would give her 4 paws up. He enjoyed the playtime, the down time (he's 10.5 years old!) and the walks. Thank you so very much for the great care you gave to our boy Buster and to our home.

Mariah did a fantastic job watching Greta during my 8-day vacation! She was highly communicative, frequently sending updates & pictures at least twice per day. It was clear that Greta loved her too! In the lead up to our vacation, Mariah was prompt and puntcual for our meetups. Upon our return, we arrived to a clean house and a happily snoozing pup. I would highly recommend Mariah for in-house pet sitting! Greta has already requested her for future stays! ??
Once again Mariah was awesome. We would highly recommend her to anyone who considers their pets their children. She took very good care of our dogs and house. Two thumbs up.

For all services, I do require that all dogs and cats are on flea and tick prevention and are up to date on vaccinations. I would also recommend letting me know your preferences for your dog or cat, if any (i.e. 'she loves the park down the road' or 'he enjoys a treat when he gets home from his walks'). For sitting requests, I would recommend providing a brief list of preferences you have for your dog or cat so that he or she will have a fun, safe, and comfortable experience while you are away!
A typical day
When your dog or cat is in my care, I promise to treat him or her like my own! When we go on walks, your pup and I will walk around your neighborhood and enjoy all the sights and smells there are to offer! Belly rubs and/or head scratches will of course be a must, if your pup allows them. We will also be sure to clean paws off before entering your home again. For cat sitting or drop-in experiences, I will be sure to spend plenty of time playing with them to get some energy out and give them as much attention as they’d like. With any service I offer, I guarantee pictures/videos of your pup or cat so you can have peace of mind knowing that they are in good hands and are having safe, fun time while you are away!
