Hi, my name is Mariah! After 5 years I am back in Seattle and ready to start making some new furry friends! My family believed that life really wasn't complete without a four-legged friend and we had so much love to give we ended up always having three dogs at a time. By the time I was five years old I was learning how to walk, train, and properly care for dogs of many sizes. I started housesitting and dog walking when I was 16, and till this day I still find so much joy taking care of animals. While I currently don't have any pets right now, I have owned one dog and one cat on my own. My current living space doesn't allow me to keep pets so I hope to become the best of friends with your pets.

My dog, Dina, can be very shy and nervous around new people but she warmed right up to Mariah. Through messages and pictures it seemed like Dina had a great time while Mariah watched her at my apartment overnight. Mariah was very flexible, friendly and understanding which I really appreciated. Definitely booking again in the future!
Mariah is one of the best! She was always on time and very reliable with our puppy. She did a great job helping continue our training and asked what commands we were using so she could use them on walks. Definitely recommended!
I will always choose Mariah to be with my dog. She is kind, attentive, and playful. I trust that she will always have his best interest at heart.
Mariah is absolutely fantastic with my sweetheart, Henson. Henson can be very shy and hesitant with new people but instantly took to Mariah who was very aware and on point with Henson. They bonded very well together and I would definitely reccomend Mariah for anyone in need of a pet walker/sitter. Such a sweet person!

When I enter your home for the first time I will always let your animal walk up to me first. I am extremely patient and will sit with them until they feel it's safe enough to interact with me. Once your animal feels safe with me in the home then I'll spend my time playing with them, giving them lots of pets, and taking some cute photos of them so you know they're happy and safe.
Information Mariah A. would like to know about your pet
I come to every walk equipped with poop bags, trainer treats, and water for your dog. If there are certain treats that your dog prefers or any allergies your dog has please let me know beforehand. If you also have a route that your dog does prefer or if you would like me to drive them to a nearby trail/dog park feel free to inform me. I also have no trouble at all leaving your dog with food and water after my time with them. I'm more than comfortable administering medication as long as there are instructions left.
A typical day
I like to find a park that is close by or that has more open space for the dog to explore around. I bring a tennis ball with me just in case the dog is interested in playing fetch but at the very least I make sure to get some good running time in.

Availability
I currently work a full-time job and work remotely, on weekdays I more availability in the afternoon but can take a lunch to go and stretch my legs. I have an open and flexible schedule on the weekends.
