Pet care experience
I have used Rover on both sides, as a customer for my own dog, and as a sitter/dog walker. I also have done international house/pet sitting in over 7 countries using the website Trusted Housesitters! I'm a dog mom myself (my daughter is 5 and is trapped in the body of a French bulldog). I love dogs and think of them as children in fur coats. I will love your fur babies, and treat them as my own. I have experience accommodating a variety of needs for dogs, so feel free to ask me if your fur baby needs special treatment. I have cared for dogs that are blind, deaf dogs, senior dogs, dogs that have separation anxiety, and dogs with a history of trauma that are slower to trust people. I have also administered oral medication for dogs. I’ve been exposed to all types of dogs, all sizes and breeds. I wish I could pet every dog in the world, but I’ll settle for every dog within a 25 mile radius of me :)

Maria was amazing and I’d highly recommend her! She was able to spend a lot of her time with our boys. She went above and beyond taking care of them such as bringing them dog sage ice cream. She kept us fully informed and sent multiple pictures everyday! We will be using her every time from now on!
Thanks for taking such great care of Lucy! I really appreciated the pics and updates while I was away! You saved the day when my flight was delayed 8+ hours, making me arrive the next morning...I sincerely thank you for taking Lucy in one more night on super short notice!!
I am so happy I found Maria! She watched my young energetic puppy for 2 days and I could not be more satisfied. My puppy is happy, she was exercised daily, and I also received pictures of her enjoying herself. Maria was flexible, communicative, and professional. I am so grateful my pup was well taken care of!

Let me know if your dog has any needs or concerns - medication, special instructions for care, little quirks, etc! I love all dogs! All dogs are so cute and perfect to me. Some of my favorite breeds that I have gotten to know well include frenchie, pit bulls, chihuahuas, Australian shepherds, Rottweilers, and boxers. However, I am constantly discovering new breeds that I love and I am that person who smiles and says hi to every dog on the street I see! So any and all breeds are welcome. I'd love to know what treats your dog likes or what their favorite activities are! I also would like to know how your dog interacts with other dogs.
A typical day
Dogs who have stayed with me become part of the family, and I treat them like my babies and as if they were my own - the only downside to this is how attached I get to them. I love to go on long walks (I try to take at least 10,000 steps a day, so dog walking helps!) I also love trips to the dog park, hikes, and dog friendly adventures.
