Pet care experience
I am a consultant and currently looking for a new role, which means I’m home every week now with lots of time to look after your pet! Sadly, because I will still travel regularly in my future role, I can't have a cat or dog of my own, which is how I got started on Rover in 2017 in Washington DC. I live with my boyfriend who also travels during the week, so your kitty or pup will get double the love on a weekend. I grew up with cats and a german shepherd and definitely have an affinity for the big dogs, but more recently we have been caring for some smaller senior dogs who I also love with all my heart. No matter what breed your pet is, I promise to treat them as if they were my own and deliver them the same special attention you would.

I live in an apartment building with a walkway/gate/small courtyard, but still keep dogs leashes at all times when out there (great if you have a retractable leash). Otherwise I can do 3+ walks per day and usually go to the Washington Square dog park, unless you have another nearby preference. Happy to host cats as well or check in on them!

I would need to know if the pup is house trained. It’s also helpful to know how they handle phone calls (brief!) and other people/men for when my boyfriend is home.
A typical day
If running long distances and sniffin' other dogs is your pup's thing, we'll head to the park. If your dog is more low key - hey, that's okay too. We'll hang in and watch TV on the couch... no other dogs allowed.
