Pet care experience
I have worked with dogs 7 days a week for the past 2+ years. I am a professional dog walker/sitter and also work with groups of dogs at a kennel. I am comfortable with all breeds, temperaments, training , and administering medication (included insulin shots) in both cats and dogs. I am available most mornings and evenings, and am available to house sit or keep pups in my home! My pup and I live in a farm house on an 80 acre plot of land in Lafayette, and are near lots of open space and dog parks! I make a point of staying in contact with the pet parents throughout the day, and keeping them updated on their pets to keep their mind at ease while they are away! And most importantly I make sure your pet is happy and healthy (and maybe only slightly spoiled) while their human is away!

Maria was my first sitter through rover and she provided exactly what I needed and much more! She sent me photos of what fun activites she and my precious Toby had done each day. Maria is an awesome dog sitter! She's responsible, quick to respond, flexible, and genuinely cares about the dogs shes watching. She stayed at our house for several days when we were on vacation in Alaska and looked after our Great Dane. He ended up getting sick while we were away and Maria went above and beyond in caring for him. We really lucked out that she was staying with our boy. It's so hard being far away when a pet isn't well but we were comforted knowing he was in good hands. We have since added a pup to our family and it was a no-brainer who to ask when we needed a sitter recently. I understand how nerve-wracking it can be trusting someone to take care of your dog, but Maria is awesome, no worries here!
Maria has walked/sat my lab puppy for almost a year. She is truly exceptional. He LOVES her, as evidenced by his willingness to hop in her car even with me around as well as his loving welcomes of her every time he sees her. She's professional, trustworthy, caring, very good with dogs, a good communicator when I'm traveling, and takes special care of him all the time. I recommend her without hesitation, and I've had scores of dogsitters...she's the best one I've ever had.
