Maria was absolutely the best dog sitter we could have hoped for! My wife and I were a little anxious to leave our dog with a new person (our dog can be a little shy), however Maria and Madison seemed to bond right away. Maria was very responsive to any inquiries during her dog-sit, providing photos and updates upon request or unprompted. Maria provided Madison with plenty of walks and cuddles, allowing Madison to feel comfortable at home while her “parents” were away. We’ve already communicated with Maria that we’d love to have her pet-sit again. 10/10 recommend!

Maria has owned her own dogs since she was a little girl of 5. When she became an independent adult she rescued two beagles and became a dog mom. She cared for them for many years till they both passed in the last two years. Those dogs were so well cared for that I am sure she extended their lifespan by a few years. She is still grieving the loss of her two dogs and this is why she she has chosen to become a pet caregiver, so she can be close to dogs and yet not make the emotional commitment to owning new ones so soon after losing her loved ones.
