Pet care experience
Ever since I was a little girl, I have had a passion for animals and caring for them. I grew up with two small dogs, and somehow ended up with an extra 4 cats along the way! Most of my best friends have dogs as well, so I was always their go-to auntie to watch their pups when needed. I have experience walking pups of all sizes, Grate Dane being the largest. I'm not afraid of a grumpy kitty and understand that they need some play time just as much as doggos do! I truly believe that our pets should not have to have a change in schedule if their parents are away, so I will be sure to check in, walk, or stay with your kid(s) so that nothing changes for them.

Maria is incredible with animals! She's had plenty of experience with her own pets and knows exactly how to care for them. She has a genuine love for and interest in animals, and that's exactly the type of person I'd trust with my own. Definitely recommend!
Maria is a wonderful pet sitter who takes excellent care of our furry troop! Right off the bat when we first met her we got an excellent first impression. She is very warm and friendly and was great with our pets! When we came home after our weekend away our pets were relaxed and happy. Maria did an outstanding job with my "difficult" breed pups (husky and pit-bull), I have no doubt that she is able to handle any task that comes her way!

As mentioned, I work from home so your pup will company throughout the day. I live in an apartment with my partner and 6yr old cat, so pups must be friendly! Only accepting small dogs to stay with me since my cat is not used to having bigger dogs around, only small dogs and other cats. Though I live in an apartment complex, there are lots of open grass areas with a short trail to go on a nice walk for potty breaks and exercise.

If you’re dog has any specific behaviors or triggers I should look out for. Any areas where they don’t like being touched. Could they be approached by strangers or other dogs on walks, etc.
A typical day
I live right by Mission Trails park and know a couple of routes perfect for dogs! There is also a play area right by my apartment where we can play games.

I recently moved from South Florida, and I am working full-time East Coast hours. I am free every day after 3:30pm, so I have most of the day available to check on/walk/hangout with your furry babies!
