Hello there! I’m Maria, and I’m new to the Fox Valley Area but Lived in Central Wisco all my life. I’ve been around all types of animals since I was born. Chickens, Rabbits, Cows, Dogs, Cats, Ferrets, Chinchillas, Cockatiels. I could list more but we’d be out of time. 😄 My parents and I birthed and raised GSP’s and cocker spaniels since I was in middle school so I know the in’s and outs of the potty game and what a puppy does and needs. My neighbors would ask me to dog sit, drop-in for play time and potty and then would refer their friends to have me baby sit and dog sit. We’ve gained dogs and given them a great life and made them as comfortable as they can during their end times. Now that I am married I have two Fox Red Labs, Bo and Tobias, FULL OF ENERGY and LOVE to go around! I play with them, feed them twice a day, take them for walks, cuddle them, and bathe them when they need it. But mostly, those *kisses* (: Can’t get enough. I’ve had a terrible experience with my Bo Bear at a local kennel in Rosendale, WI. They told me to give them a list of things I needed to do for my dog, and they did absolutely everything the opposite. They underfed him. They didn’t play with him. They gave him his toys in his kennel which he shredded, and they left him in his kennel most of the day. He never went on a walk the 7 days we were gone, and they never called to update us on how he was doing. We came back and he was shaking when we got him. I NEVER want ANY fur parents to ever experience this. Based on my experience of a kennel, I want pet parents to know that they have comfort in someone local that they can depend on and someone who will treat them as if they were their fur babies. Maria was absolutely amazing with my dogs! She made sure they had everything they could possibly want and need including many snuggles! I would hire her again to dog sit in a heartbeat!
My girlfriend and I took a vacation, but we needed a sitter for Jack (2 year old corgi). While we were away, Maria shared videos and photos of her walks, car rides, and playtime with Jack. Maria will always be Jack's favorite sitter!

I have a huge backyard that also has a sliding lead attached incase your pet needs to be hooked up to go potty. Bo and Toby like to catch the frisbee in the backyard if that gives you an idea of the size! If you need me to separate your animal from ours during the day by putting our animals away for the day during the day I can do that too. Typically, I like to know at the time of the meet & greet your furbaby’s schedule is and what they like to do. How many feedings do they need, do they need a leash to go potty, are they good with other dogs? Do they have certain medicines they need daily? What kind of treaties do they like? How much treats can they get in a day? Are they allowed any fresh food like strawberries or blueberries if I were to share any? (You can't help getting lost in those begging eyes..) Anything that I can do to make you and your animals feel comfortable at home while you are away. ❤️

I am willing to accommodate for all needs of any breed. If there is anything outside of my comfort zone I will make it known, though in my experience I haven’t found any yet. I would say if you verbally categorize your animal as “aggressive”, then I will try to do my best with your instructions as to how to take care of your fur-baby, but if under the condition during our Meet & Greet that things do not feel comfortable for both parties, then that is just the way things are and we will have to go our different ways. ❤️ I have yet to meet a dog I haven't loved and a dog who has yet to not love a good butt scratching from me! What is important to know about me ahead of time: I do have a hidden disability. Although it does not affect me everyday, it does affect me time to time. The only place it would affect me is if I were to decide to take your dog out for a walk, which in then I would decide that it would be in my best interest to stay in your home for the day and maybe try again the next day. But, we would play in the yard or play with toys in return to get all the energy out! I don't let my disability affect me, so I do hope that this doesn't affect your decision in your decision making. If you have any questions, I would hope that we can discuss them in the Meet & Greet!
A typical day
I have a many trails near my house and a few parks as well, that way your furry friend can get the most out of their exercise! I love to play with them with any toys they have! If your buddy has a good spot he loves to go to, I'll make it my mission to go there as well! This stay is to make everybody as happy as possible! If you do decide during your Home Sitting that you would like to have your fur-baby groomed, I carry various items and grooming supplies that I can bring during a home sitting to groom your pet while you are away which is included in the grooming price! I have some shampoo, conditioner, a towel, a puppy dryer, and a brush out comb for the under coat!

• My Availability ~ I have decided that based on my health it is best to work from home, so I have been looking for more outside work that I can also do from home. My schedule is very fluid, but my husband has Axe Throwing Tournaments every-so-often, so some spots I may not be available, but most weeks and week days I will be available! • Drive Time ~ The most I’d be willing to drive is 20 miles, but price would be contingent if I had to drive further. • My Motto ~ “Be Intentional In All That You Do.” I want to provide care to your furbabies, whether it be in your home or mine, with the intent that you know you can trust some who cares about your well-being as much as your furbaby’s well-being.
