I’m a 52 year old attentive and caring dog lover, married and have two sons, one older son living at home! I have always loved dogs, I have a 4 year old Australian Cattle Dog named Shadow who is friendly, enjoys playing with other dogs and a huge people person. Her name fits her perfectly, she follows me everywhere in the house, except when I turn the shower on, than she hides as she thinks it’s bath time for her :-).. I take her on hikes almost daily, so she’s very active! She just loves to run up the hills and chase squirrels. I also work from home full time, so I will always be around and not leave dogs home all by itself for hours, since I do work from home and on conference calls daily, I would not be able to take dogs on the weekdays that bark constantly, but on the weekends, not a problem. We live in Somerville, a short distance from the dog park and a great area to walk dogs. I've grown up with dogs all my life, had a German Shepherd for over 10 years and a Chinese Shar-Pei for over 4 years.
