I have always loved animals and currently have 2 dogs and two cats. I have always felt a unique connection to all animals. I think they are great judges of character and have an uncanny ability to "feel out" people and situations. Sometimes I feel that the company of animals is preferred to the company of people by some. Animals provide a connection to people that cannot be compared and have overcome barriers to reach people that others could not even begin to overcome. I have never met a dog or a cat that I didn't like and probably never will. Life would truly be boring and mundane without our loving pets. I for one am happy they exist. Hopefully they will continue to. thanks
