Pet care experience
Hi, I'm Maria! I grew up with animals my whole life and recently relocated to the Seattle Area from Annapolis. I have a lot of flexibility on weekends and holidays, and I have experience with dogs/cats of all ages and sizes. I also have some dog training experience and senior/special needs training for pets as well. I'm currently working full time during the week, but I am available for lunchtime walks or play time. I also have all day flexibility on weekends and holidays. I'd love to go on walks around the neighborhood with your dog- or even hike or play at a dog park- depending on their needs. I'm currently only looking for dog walking as I have two very sweet kitties at home in my small studio apartment, but I will still take every precaution to ensure the safety of your pet while they're in my care. I have plenty of experience with animals of all tempermants and take extra precautions when meeting a new pet to get acquainted with them before our first walk to build trust!

I really just want to know what your usual routine is like. What your dog enjoys doing, the places you like to take them. I think it helps personalize the experience. For instance, my family dog isn’t a fan of balls but he loves playing with stuffed animals! It’s one of the first things I tell people who watch him when we go out of town because otherwise he might not get to play the way he really prefers to. Knowing the little things about your dog will let me make their experience the best it can be!
A typical day
I love going on walks, playing at parks, playing with toys and all sorts of fun things like that. One of my favorite routes to walk is very close to my apartment: Ravenna Creek. It’s such a nice walk through area with lots of grass and plenty to smell. It’s also super close by to playground with a big field to play in. I love going there to play fetch or tug of war or just to run around in the grass. It’s one of my favorite areas.
