Pet care experience
My name is Maria Paula, I'm currently a student in the University of dance and theater in Amsterdam. All my life I have had pets (mostly dogs) in my house. I grew up with a beautiful Labrador called Dago who lived to be 16 years old, my siblings had already moved out so I was the one responsible for taking care of him when he was older, Thanks to this I have some experience with taking care of senior dogs. Soon after his passing we rescued Buda who I had to train how to go poop, how to sit and how to be a sociable dog. For this I went to the local red cross where they offer dog training courses for puppies, here I got a diploma on how to train puppies. Now living in Huizen with my sister and I get to be an aunt to Rocco, a dog that I walk regularly, play with and give food. I love dogs and cats, I find them to be energizing for me. It's almost a way for me to recharge and connect with nature.

Maria takes care of our dog in a regular basis. She takes him for walks 3 days a week. Pashush (My Dog) completely loves her. He is a very anxious dog as he is a rescue with some behavioral issues. But she is great with him, he doesn't trust strangers, but he immediately accepted Maria, which talks very well about her good energy. She also stayed at our house and took care of him, constantly shared pictures of him (Very Instagramable pictures by the way) which made me feel calm. I totally recommend her, she is committed and great with dogs.
Maria took care of our dog for several months, because me and my partner had some overlap for office days. You can tell she has experience with dogs, because our dog is normally barky to new people, but was able to trust her very quickly. She was patient and calm with him and followed our wishes on how to deal with our dog. She took him on walks to the woods or the water to meet other dogs and play. We were really happy with her!

I'm a dancer so I tend to be really energetic, so if you dog likes long walks is not a problem for me, I also like to play outside and take them on hikes (if the area has some nice forest near). I also love cuddling with them and give them pets, so if the dog is sedentary or old I'm a great partner. You can have the best of both worlds with me, I'll take care for your pets as it were my own 💞

I would like to know if the dog is not people friendly or dog friendly. Not because I'm scared of this kind of behaviour, but with this information I can prevent accidents by taking the right measures.
A typical day
I love walking to new and exciting places, so if there's a forest near by I would love to go on a hike. I also like to play to hide treats around the house and make the dog look for them, is a good way of them to use their nose and be entretained.

I'm a student and right now my schedule is very flexible. Even though I'm living in Huizen I go everyday to Amsterdam to study. I have my weekends free and available.
