Pet care experience
I've spent a happy lifetime in the company of precious pooches. 🐕🐩 I have taken care of family and friend’s fur babies whenever they were away from home. Therefore, I’ve learned to communicate with many breeds, helping them feel comfortable within minutes! Dogs can sense that I truly love them. 🥰 While your pup is with me, they're treated like Royalty!👑 I specialize in caring for SENIORS. 👴👵
Reviews
Maria was such a phenomenal find on Rover! Such great communication and easy coordination of drop off and pick up. Updates along the way as well which was amazing. My dog came home happy and tired from the love, cuddles, and outside time he had with Maria and I could not recommend her more! Will absolutely book again!
Maria recently took care of our dog Mia while we were away. She provided daily updates and made us feel comfortable that our Mia was in safe hands away from us. She was even kind enough to feed Mia when she didn’t want to eat. We would leave Mia under Maria’s care again without any hesitation. Thank you Maria!
I have to say my first impression on our meet and greet with Maria. She was nice and with the reviews she had I decided to leave my yorkie with her my first time through the app. However, two days into I only received one updated I wrote her and requested if it was possible to get two to 3 updates a day as a dog parent leaving my dog for the first time it was hard. She got upset and said she had a life and she will do one and even when I apologize and asked for understanding she replied in capital letter"A LITTLE" When I had said sorry don't mean to bother you and I am a little concerned. She said that we had trouble with the app and had sent messages so to give her the benefit of thought I followed the steps and closed the app and reset it to get the messages. I did see and received one message a day. So, I in my return picked up buddy, everything seemed okay when got home with buddy and buddy had the opportunity to go out in the back yard he poop 6 times in the period of few hours. Definitely he was constipated, The next day I received a report from her " After the first 2 days, Buddy didn’t want the carrot treats anymore! I had texted her and asked if buddy was okay and in the text she said he was eating fine so 😒 lied to me instead of informing me. She also wrote in the report after I picked up buddy "I kept trying but no way. I searched online for foods, veg, nuts & fruit that dogs can eat. I cut up a banana into slices, then little bites. The first time I gave him one, he spun twice and gobbled it up! He later refused to eat after a few days! I was so sad but didn’t want to worry you. I mixed some banana in with his food. Clean bowl! 🎉 I also used canned, unsalted sliced carrots, cut up. Buddy loves them! His food bowl was always empty. I made sure that Buddy didn't get bored with his food. Bananas, canned unsalted carrots, unsalted peanuts & a few unsalted cashews became his treats! He loves them! 😛 " I didn't respond because I was upset and concerned for buddy he is on a special diet for urinary stones and liver and she never consulted with me or even let me know so I can guide her. She didn't follow the restrictions and instructions given and if he had stayed longer the time buddy could have been very sick and ended in the vet. A person in charge of your dog can not assume or take action unless consulted with the owner giving him peanuts or cashews is toxic for buddy high on fat and phosphorus contributing to the issues he already is under control with his special food for bladderstones and liver. Therefore I give her 3 starts because she can probably do fine with an older dog that doesn't need walks and that it is not under specific restrictions she didn't demonstrate the ability to communicate and stick to the restrictions of buddy's diet and walks. I had reached out to my vet and buddy needs a blood test to verify his liver.
Whenever we leave our Emerson with Maria we immediately take a deep exhale. We know he’s good and safe. We get to enjoy our trip. Maria is great!

Their safety is paramount. I never let a dog out in the yard alone, they're ALWAYS on leash with me. I follow owner's rules & give nutrition & treats brought from home. Bedtime is sleeping in their crate, or their bed or on MY bed, whatever they like. I like them to stay in my room me overnight, to assure that I can keep them calm, reassured & safe throughout the night. Can't wait to meet your fur baby! 🐶

A PHOTO! The dog's Age, (I CATER to SENIORS,) their Weight, Temperament, Special Needs, Vet info, their usual Daily Schedule, and What is Expected of Me. Anything that would make your dog's stay an easy transition for them. I hope they are microchipped for their safety.
A typical day
I make sure my furry clients have fun when they're with me. We'll play with toys, ball toss, chase each other, play "hide & seek" and practice tricks. They love to play my "Sniff & Find (treats)" games to stimulate their brain. They go out for puppy breaks & enjoy one good walk per day.
