Pet care experience
I am fully committed to making sure your pets are well taken care of. Ever since I could remember, I've never been pet-less, from hamsters to cats to dogs. My childhood dream was even to be a veterinarian! I was a veterinary assistant for a year before I started pursuing evolutionary biology. I am currently getting my PhD in Biology at UPenn. I am also experienced in working with anxious pets, so I will make sure to accommodate to any specific needs. Additionally, I have experience administering oral and topical medication.

Maria was amazing! I have 4 dogs and all have their issues. She followed all instructions and asked necessary questions when things didn't go as planned. One of my dogs has GI issues and she kept trying to get him to eat. I've had several awful sitters until now. She truly was amazing with the dogs. Her communication and commitment were very much appreciated.

A typical day
I love to walk around Clark Park, Penn’s campus, or the Woodland Cemetery since they are all very pedestrian (and dog!) friendly. I aim to walk a mile for every 30 minutes.

I am currently only taking 3 classes so I am very flexible throughout the work week and weekends. If you are close enough to Clark Park or the Woodland Cemetery, I would love to take your dog on a nature-filled stroll.
