Pet care experience
I have taken care of neighbor dogs for many years. If your dog likes long (or short) walks, that's great. We have a resident dog, a frequent visitor grand-dog, and two cats here. A preliminary meet and greet is a good idea to make sure everyone is compatible. Most days I work from home so dogs can go outside frequently to the fenced back yard and deck. My grand-dog isn't good with very rambunctious dogs, so sometimes I can only take laid-back ones that don't want to wrestle, etc. I limit sitting to 10 days out of the month. Sits that are only one night but are over 30 hours from drop-off to pick-up are $50. I will treat your dog/s just as I would want my own dog treated at someone's house, as a member of the family. I am choosy about who I accept because it's important that it's a good fit for all involved.

Maria, at first appeared to be a good person. Then half way through Gingers sitting. She advised me that my Ginger had chewed through an active live wire. At this time i had no confidence in her abilities to be a sitter. My Ginger could have been harmed or worse. Then she had the nerve to put the cord in some belongings upon picking up Ginger. She did not speak to my husband upon picking Ginger up. She called me later after pick up. I informed her of my findings of a cord and receipt. She asked if i planned to pay for it. I was appalled. Of course i informed her the harm she placed my Ginger in. And explained to her how am i to know Ginger is responsible. And if she truely is. She was not properly caring for my Ginger. And there will be no compensation for her cord or further sitting.
I am very pleased with Maria as a host for my dogs. She did her best to make my dogs feel comfortable. The pictures were great! I highly recommend Maria.
