I once found a brand new recently born puppy in a bush. I was pregnant with my first child at the time and the puppy really helped me prepare for motherhood. I woke up every 2 hrs to feed it, burp it, and assist it to do its business. The puppy came with me to work, bonded with me and I was the first thing it saw when it opened its eyes. I instilled all my love in her and yes, she was there when I gave birth. It was like a gift sent to me to learn how to be a mom and I'm so happy I rescued her.
