A Caring Dog Mom in Hayes Valley!
Pet care experience
Hi there! My husband and I would love to take care of your furbaby. I work from home. I've had lots of pets from dogs, cats, turtles growing up as a child, and I often dog-sit for friends and colleagues. We live in a condo in Hayes Valley and will provide a loving and caring home for your dog. We will give him/her lots of love, care, and attention. We will take him out to the parks for play time and will send you photo updates frequently. I am very responsive over text / phone and will always respond within a few minutes. Please let me know the estimated drop-off and pick-up times for the stay. I’m happy to do a meet & greet to get to know you and your dog, but do not require them. If your schedule doesn’t permit a meet & greet, I’m also available to do phone or video chat prior to booking.

Maria was amazing! She watched our cat for an extended stay (almost 2 weeks). Maria communicated well, accommodated our special requests, and sent regular updates and pictures. We highly recommend!
Maria provided excellent communication both before and during our booking. We were able to set up a meet and greet to ensure that she and our pup, Benji, were a good fit together. She took great care of our boy — she have him his medicine, took him to work, out on hikes, and kept us updated the entire time. All of her daily photos with Benji were so great and we had total confidence that he was loved and well taken care of. We would totally have our pup stay again with Maria!
Maria took wonderful care of my kitten, Aria, while my husband and I were out of town for a few days. She sent daily photo updates and was very attentive to Aria’s needs, which was apparent in her thorough/prompt communication. I don’t have any breed preferences, but I'm not equipped to take of dogs with destructive behavior as I let dogs roam around freely in my condo. Please let me know the answers to the following questions so we can ensure we are a good fit: *Is your dog house trained? My condo is carpeted except for the kitchen / bathrooms so I’m not able to take care of dogs who are not house broken. *Have they been boarded before? How are they around people and other dogs? I have a 3-year old cavapoo who is very friendly and calm. He weighs 20 lbs and gets along with other dogs who are not aggressive. *Do they bark or whine? If so, for what reasons? I live in a condo and not equipped to handle dogs with anxiety or separation issues who bark or whine because they’re in a new environment. *Do they get along with other dogs? I do not take more than one client at a time, but would like to take your dog to a dog park to run and play freely! Thank you for providing me with these details! It will help me be the best sitter possible for your dog :)
A typical day
A typical day with me would look like this: a morning walk before 9am; a potty break during lunch time; and a walk in the evening in the neighborhood or a visit to the park; and one last potty break before going to bed. If your dog requires more than 3-4 walks a day, please let me know! I charge extra for dogs who need more frequent potty breaks throughout the day.
