Pet care experience
We are Jesper and Maria, and have grown up with dogs our entire life, we have experience with different kinds of dog breed and mixes, who were our companions along our life. Jesper had cats since 1975 and Maria started working at a cat shelter in 2004. Bianca, a white German Shepherd who was with us for 14 years inspired us to create this open place in the mountains to share long nature walks and pet care in a way that is far from the daily routine.

I left my puppy for the day during a trip to ski at Kirkwood, it was a bit of a detour, but the experience was amazing for my dog. Their own dog is friendly and played with mine, hikes and walks. Maria Fernanda and Jesper sent me pictures and videos of fabulous settings with my dog. I will definitely consider them again, especially for longer boarding stays.

Boo's off-grid cabin was a cozy retreat for Boo even though she didnt spend the night, day care only today. Equipped with heating pad, it would have provided a comfortable and secure space for her to relax. The absence of modern distractions encouraged her to fully embrace the great outdoors and engage in activities that catered to her natural instincts. What truly set this dog sitting experience apart was the level of personalized attention Boo received. Daily updates, complete with photos and videos, were sent to me, ensuring I was never far from Boos adventures. Their dog Bella and Boo got along very well and were a great pair. In this off-grid setting, Boo enjoyed a variety of activities that kept her both mentally stimulated and physically active. From scenic hikes through the wilderness to playful sessions of fetch in a spacious, fenced yard, Boo was in doggy heaven. Jesper's commitment to providing ample exercise was evident in Boos content demeanor upon my return. In conclusion, our off-grid dog sitting experience was a resounding success. We have a large mountainous Retreat (80 acres) for long walks, with creeks, and another enclosed pet play area. We build special houses that are cozy and have ample space, each with their own little individual front yard for relief anytime. For the cats we offer amazing individual catios with little Cat condos where the cats can have fresh air and be comfortable at the same time. For both cats and dogs we offer playtime, cuddle time, grooming, medication, social time and additionally for the dogs: long nature walks, and training.

No Pitbulls or other fighting breeds, all dogs must have current vaccinations (Rabies, Kennel Cough). We accept pets which are not housetrained. Will your dog jump a 4 foot fence?
A typical day
For Dogs: Long morning Walk on Nature Trails (no asphalt), individual feeding time, Supervised Play time with other dogs. On hot days, play in the kiddie pool or the sprinkler, walk to the creek. Afternoon walk, and individual feeding. Sleep inside in a cozy house, on a soft blanket. For Cats: Enjoy the sights, smells and sounds of nature from the safety of an individual enclosure, climb on the oak-cat tree, jump from platform to platform in the Cat gym. Play with the cat toys. Daily feeding and cuddle time, for social cats playtime and cuddle time other cats.

Availability
I spend my days at home with our son and pets: one dog (Bella) and two cats, this allows me to give a lot of attention to the animals we care for. My husband works from home and is an occasional dog trainer.
