Walkies, cuddles, fun and treats, kind and caring.

Pet care experience

I grew up surrounded by all different types of pets, cats, dogs, canaries, fish, chickens, rabbits. We bred Pedigree whippets, and also rescued them and at one time had six dogs at home. When I left home I got a Jack Russell from a puppy, who shared my life for 15 years. I have walked and boarded various small to medium breeds. I have passed a First Aid, Dog Sitting and Walking course and have walked various breeds for Borrow my doggy and We Love Pets.

Our Springer Spaniel Pepper stayed with Maria for two weeks while we were away. This was the first time she stayed away from us for that long, and I was worried how she will come and adjust to that. From the first meet and greet, I felt straight away that Maria loves dogs and will look after Pepper like it was her own dog. Maria cared for her so well, she received all the exercise she needed, all the TLC she needed and much more. We received regular updates and we felt very confident that she was happy and in good hands. I would highly recommend Maria to anyone, and will happily book boarding at Maria’s again.

I would highly recommend Maria for dog sitting and will look forward to returning. Maria has looked after my dog Daisy very well and was very much loved from all the family involved. Daisy really enjoyed her stay and I was kept informed via messages with photos included around her well being and how comfortable she was being left with Maria. Thank you again for having daisy whilst I was away. Xx

Our Cockapoo had a wonderful stay with Maria! We went on our trip knowing that our dog was going to be so well looked after, and the peace of mind that brings is priceless. Thoroughly recommend and will be booking with Maria again :)

Maria was a fantastic dog sitter for our dog, Alfie. Super friendly and looked after him as if he was her own. Has a wonderful set up with access to great areas for dog walking. Would highly recommend.

Safety, trust & environment

We have a nice sized garden, which is fenced to one side and a hedge to the other. We also have extra fencing which can be erected for more security when playing outside in the garden. We have loads of room inside the house for the dog to roam freely and make itself at home. We do live close to the National Shooting Centre in Bisley, and one of the walks I do is very close to the firing range, so if your dog is nervous of loud bangs/fireworks, please let me know as this might not be in the dogs best interest to board with me being so close.

Information Maria F. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know as much as you can about your dog ahead of boarding. I'm happy to give any medication and also happy to look after older dogs, shy or nervous dogs. All I ask is that they have been house trained, friendly with other dogs and happy to sleep downstairs and not upstairs in the bedrooms.

A typical day

I have great walks on my doorstep and I mainly walk on commons, away from the road. I love walking with dogs, the feeling of being outside watching them having fun. I walk an hour in the morning and an hour late afternoon, with a small walk at lunchtime, or play in the garden with a ball. If your dog is older, happy to do less walks, all about quality not quantity when they get older.
