Pet care experience
I adopted my dog Maggie a little over 5 years ago and fostered two sets of puppies and two dogs during the pandemic. Through that experience I learned a ton about taking care of dogs, including geriatric and those with special needs. I am a reliable person with a flexible hybrid work schedule - ready to help you out so you can go enjoy your vacation! I have experience training puppies with positive reinforcement, administering regular medication to dogs (but no experience injecting medicine yet). I am an active person and can handle care for dogs that need more exercise as well.

Coordinating with Maria was so smooth and she sent lots of updates pictures. My pup had a great time with her and Maggie. Maria went out of her way to make sure my boy was well taken care of. Definitely recommend her!
Maria did a great job hosting Margeaux while we were out of town! She was very responsive and willing to help coordinate a drop off that worked best for everyone. Would definitely recommend her to anyone needing a boarding option for their dog this summer!
Maria was a great sitter for our Coco!! She sent us daily photos and updates with how she was doing, and was well suited for her senior care. Coco and her dog Maggie also got along great which is a plus, would definitely book again!
Maria was absolutely awesome. Her little doggie Maggie got along great with my dog as well. Maria sent lots of pics and she spoiled my dog while I was out of town. In fact my dog seemed a little bummed out to leave… :) Don’t hesitate to leave your doggie with Maria, they’ll be in really good hands!

Your dog will need to be friendly toward my dog Maggie, so i like to set up a quick meet and greet beforehand. I cannot offer care for other animals (no cats, bunnies, etc), and I only have the bandwidth to handle well-behaved and non-destructive dogs.

Please share info with me on how you train, feed & exercise your dog and what your expectations are for me so that I can get a sense of whether I’m the right fit to take care of your baby! Any aggression, destructive behaviors, reactivity, separation anxiety etc should be disclosed ahead of booking.
A typical day
I can be flexible depending on what your dog loves to do. I like to hike, do long walks, take Maggie to dog parks including the one in Westminster, etc. If they are lower activity I have plenty of enrichment toys/strategies.

Availability
I’m currently working full-time and only need to go into the office two days a week. I have a mid-day dog walker for the two days I’m in office that your pet could also have access to. That being said, my schedule is very flexible (I choose which days I go in). I typically walk Maggie twice a day or take her to the dog park that’s around the corner from where I live, so your pet can look forward to plenty of activity!
