Hi, we are Maria and Steve! We both adore dogs, and have many years of experience caring for them. Last year we adopted our own dog, Ranger, a cattle dog/lab mix who hasn't met another dog, adult, or child he doesn't love! We have a home with a fenced-in yard, in a quiet, little neighborhood, with a park right across the street. We are very outdoorsy dog owners who love going on hikes in all the wonderful parks and trails in our city. A few of our favorites are: Little Miami Bike Trail, Ault Park, Alms Park, Sharon Woods, Otto Armleder Memorial, Friendship Park, East Fork Lake, Red Bird Hollow, Cincinnati Nature Center, and Hueston Woods. We also love exploring downtown with our dog on weekends, crossing the Purple People Bridge, and strolling along the beautiful new riverfront. We also live in a great neighborhood for walking dogs, and never tire of exploring our little community on foot! We live close to several pet stores that love when we stop in for a little treat on our walks, and coffee shops and restaurants that allow dogs on the patio. If your dog enjoys going to dog parks, so do we! We take Ranger to the park to play often. He loves being social and meeting new dog friends. If your dog is more low-key and likes to stay at home and snuggle, we like that, too! We are ready to tailor your dog's visit around what makes him or her happiest! I work during the day, and Steve usually works afternoons and evenings. Our schedules are such that one of us is almost always home to care for your dog, and give them all the attention they need! My office is about ten minutes from our house, so checking in on lunch breaks is always an option, too!
