Pet care experience
I’ve managed dog daycare/boarding facilities in West Seneca and Kenmore. I graduated from Medaille in 2016 with my vet tech degree. I have previously worked in an animal hospital in Lancaster for 4 years. I volunteered for Ten Lives Club for 2 years at their offsite PetSmart location on Walden. I have watched many family pets over the years as well as clients from my work places. My dog passed away suddenly a few months ago from cancer at just 7 years old and I miss going for walks with him, playing fetch, and going on adventures. Looking to open my heart to help dogs/pets in need of looking after. Not only do I have experience with cats and dogs, but rabbits, guinea pigs, and geckos as well so I would be willing to care for them too. Experience with handling crickets/worms/frozen raw feed for reptiles/amphibians. Experience with changing bedding for rabbits, hamsters, mice, rats, chinchillas, and guinea pigs.

I can only board dogs in my home. I have 2 cats and a huge partially fenced in yard with a lead available. If any dogs come to my home, they MUST be cat friendly, fully potty trained, and crate trained. I can only board 1 dog at a time.

I would need to know what type of walking equipment is used (harness, prong collar, etc.), if the dog is reactive, if the dog can have treats or has any other diet restrictions or handicap. I have no issue with blind or deaf dogs and can identify if an animal needs emergent medical care. I have a profound love for senior pets!
A typical day
I live by como park so I would love to walk dogs around there or any park really. I can assist with any training needs and will abide by the rules of the owner. We could play fetch in my backyard and walk around my neighborhood as well. We can also stop for ice cream or a puppuccino from Starbucks if no diet restrictions. As long as your dog is well behaved in the car, I do not mind driving them places. I can also trim nails, clean ears, and bathe.

I work full time Monday-Friday 8-4:30 in Cheektowaga. Looking to do any dog walking after work on the weekdays or anytime on the weekends. I can do home visits and stay in your home to watch pets while you are away.
