Maria was a pleasure to work with. We met with her ahead of time and our dog immediately was at ease with her. Her house is clean and welcoming and our dog had an amazing time with her. She sent us daily updates of our dog. We definitely recommend her.

tl;dr? Book Maria. Drop your dog off. Go on your trip. And completely relax knowing your dog is in great (caring, compassionate, thoughtful, intelligent...) hands. Do it. When I booked this trip, I was a hot mess. It was last minute because I thought I could bring my elderly pitbull with me, but somebody was allergic... My girl is an old lady now, and has never been particularly good with transitions. When we adopted her she was half her ideal weight and shivering and cowering. So she's got some serious doggy PTSD. And health issues. Etc, etc, etc... And for this trip I didn't communicate very well about any of that with Maria. But Maria rolled with it! She just made it happen, even though I was flaky about drop off and pick up times... She figured it out and made it work. And she took great care of my extremely sensitive old sweet dog. Maria was patient when it took her a day or two to relax. And gracious when my dog peed on her rug twice. Made pick ups and drop offs easy. Sent lots of updates. Walks, meals, meds, all without a hitch. She even sent me home with a quart of chicken stock because my mopey fancy pants pitbull wouldn't eat her food w/o a splash added! Book Maria and consider yourself lucky. She is a caretaker. She is one of the rare and talented people in this world who, with grace and kindness, helps the rest of us keep it all together.
