Pet care experience
Having grown up with 2 dogs and 2 cats and years of dog and cat sitting for friends and family, I’ve become a true expert in pet care! I am also a fluent Spanish and English pet sitter! One of the things I love most that takes up most of my free time is hanging out and spending quality time with my furry family members: my dogs Milo and Cleo and my cats Lily and Salvaje! I am currently studying for my license in occupational therapy, so my schedule and study environment are flexible! Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me to care for their pets for years! Sending them picture updates, videos, and sometimes video calls. I take care of every fur baby as if it were my own, and I hope to meet yours 🐾🩷

Maria took such good care of my Bruno while I was on vacation!! I’m VERY picky with the people who take care of my pup but Maria would update me by sending me pictures which reassured me he was in good hands. I would definitely have Maria watch over Bruno for my next trip :)
Maria has watched my cat, Honey, several times while I have gone on vacation! She is great with him and so attentive and kind. She was so easy to work with and flexible! It felt great knowing I could relax on vacation knowing someone who cared and was well trusted was taking care of my world! Maria is the first person I call if I need a pet sitter!

After speaking and meeting with clients, I make sure we have household rules written and discussed. This allows me to know what to expect of clients and their furry friends when looking after them while ensuring the environment is safe and secure for all parties involved. I treat every furry friend as if they were my own. Having someone new taking care of your furry loved one can initially be nervous and anxious. However, building that trust with you and your pet is one of my main priorities.

For me, some important things to know ahead of time about your pups or feline friends are their food schedules, medications, if any, their likes and dislikes, any behaviors that make them special and unique, and, of course, what they enjoy doing!
A typical day
Depending on your pups or feline friends' wants, needs, and everyday activities, I love seeing my furry friends enjoy themselves! Some activities I enjoy doing with my furry friends are: going on long scenic walks, sun bathing, park days, doggy beach days or for those those who like to stay indoors a good snuggle with a movie!

Availability
I’m currently studying for my licensing in occupational therapy while also having company from my paw-some family. Pet care fits into my daily and weekly routine by giving Milo (my pup), Lily (my cat), or any furry friend the proper company and care. This includes filling their bellies, going on nice walks, and ensuring their needs are met. I am flexible with my study/work environment and have dog and cat sat in owners' homes while doing so. Weekends are ideal for a dog park and pup cup day or for feline friends' movie and cuddling days.
