Pet care experience
We have had pets in our household for over 30 years and they have brought us such enjoyment. Our most recent addition to our family is our sweet little rescue dog. Being recently retired and having experience with a variety of dogs gives us the opportunity to share our love for pets. We live in a quiet home with a large fenced yard and love our long walks and going to nearby parks.

Maria is an amazing pet owner and caregiver. She has looked after my dog many times, ensuring that she gets at least 3 walks a day, participates in play time and gets many hugs and snuggles. My dog rarely wants to leave when I pick her up! Her chihuahua is also such an angel and is so easy going. We've never had any issues with the two dogs together.

We have a large fenced yard and we put a cover up in the winter for a potty spot for our little dog. We allow pets on furniture, and have a lot of little blankets for snuggling in. Will use a crate if preferred. Have experience with senior dogs,they do well with our quiet little dog.

Our dog gets along well with all other dogs, he does best with smaller, quieter dogs. He will mostly find a safe spot to observe if there is an enteric dog in the house who try’s to engage him too much.
A typical day
We do morning walks after breakfast time often going to one of the nearby parks. If the weather is nice, we spend a lot of time outdoors in the fenced yard or sunroom. We walk our dog at least three times a day, the length depends on weather conditions. We enjoy going on hikes and visiting gramma in the nursing home. Playtime and training time happens ever day as well.

We are a recently retired couple which gives us flexibility with our time. We have an older rescue chihuahua who loves his routines and is happy to share his frequent walks and playtimes with other dogs his size.
