Hi, there! My name is Maria, and I’ve always been a big pet lover as I grew up with at least 7 dogs. I will treat and care for your dog as my own 🐾 I have 8+ years of experience in sitting and walking dogs. Before Rover, I sat friends’ dogs and volunteered at animal shelters which has given me plenty of dog sitting experience! 🐶 I also adopted Pato, my Dachshund mix dog, three years ago. We went through various dog training sessions to help Pato feel more confident. He used to be extremely shy but decompressed quickly after having mini play dates with other dogs, giving him his own spaces at home, figuring out his favourite treats, and more! He is 6+ years old and active, so I prioritize walk and play time to ensure he gets the most out of the daytime (and I will do the same with your dog!). I also have a wide balcony in my apartment with two patio chairs where Pato and (potentially your dog) can sunbathe! Excited to provide dog walking and/or welcome your dog into my home 🏠 Bonus: Your dog might learn some Spanish words as Pato and I “speak” English and Spanish 😅
