Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Maria and I am a professional, animal-loving, freelancer in East Cobb (Marietta). I live in a 1500sf condo off of beautiful Columns Drive with my 5-year-old son, my husband, our sweet shih tzu, and our elusive house cat. Most of my work is done from home - so I'd love to take care of your baby while you're not able to. I have owned dogs, cats, birds, fish, and even hermit crabs and a tree frog! I grew up and have experience with big dogs and small dogs - and love dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. Both of my pets get along with other cats and dogs (within reason) - but our home offers enough space to keep animals separated if and when necessary (we have pet gates). We have a screened in patio if your pet enjoys getting fresh air from time to time (outside of walking) and my our neighborhood has plenty of awesome spots to walk - including access to the Chattahoochee National Forest - there's an access point right next to our building! Maria was awesome!! She took such great care of my cat and sent me pictures and videos of her every day! My cat seemed like she had a great time and loved Maria’s dog as well! When we left I got a little boarding journal detailing the stay which was absolutely adorable. Highly recommend Maria!! What a delight
Maria was awesome from beginning to the end. I requested her n had an answer within 15 min. She agreed to watch my Pierre n I was relieved right away. I felt great by her having a sweet lol handsome shih zhu by the name of Wolfie. Pierre is usually playful, but new surroundings made him a lol anxious. Maria sent pictures of Pierre during his stay. Pierre was sent home with a boarding journal. Maria is really on the ball. You will be so happy that you left your little #LOVE one with her. Pierre was a happy camper when I picked him up. Thank you for everything n making my sweet boy feel loved. Wolfie has a friend in Tennessee. Thank you for the sweet card n picture of Pierre.

I live in a condo that has a "mini" backyard. However, for dogs, we typically walk them for potty breaks. We are surrounded by forest and trails - but we also have a green space at the end of our short street that we utilize for potty time. Dogs will, of course, be kept indoors - and we allow pets on beds and sofas as long as they're clean. We have a screened in patio if your pet would like fresh air in between walks. We have a shih tzu and a cat that get along with other animals (our dog may bark at first, but it's his way of saying hello) - and our cat usually just finds a quiet spot under a bed. Neither of them have ever been aggressive - however, all of the animals' safety, comfort, and health are important to us - so we have gates and other ways to keep them separated if and when necessary. My pets are neutered, up-to-date on all shots, and take flea/tick/etc. prevention.

I will play with and engage with your your dog the way I do with my own - and make sure they're happy and they're getting the exercise and attention he/she needs and deserves.
