Hi! My name is Maria and I am a student at the U of S. I have a degree Kinesiology, and am currently working on my nursing degree. I have had a deep love for animals since I could talk. Dogs, cats, and horses being my favourite. I grew up in a family where we have always had pets. I currently have two cats and I have owned my current horse for 9 years. Recently, we added a pug puppy to our family. My horse is an animal involving a lot of time, complex care, diligence, responsibility, and commitment. Therefore, I truly understand what clients are looking for in a pet sitter and I do my best to offer my services with these values. Dogs that require a lot of exercise are a good fit for me as I am a very active person. As per my reviews, I am responsible, reliable, provide lots of communication, and am extremely clean. Feel free to contact me with any questions, and I look forward to caring for your pet! *Note* I will stay on acreages/farms and/or in Warman and Martensville, but unfortunately due to the further distance and commute times, my rates will be higher. Maria was amazing!!! She really took the time to understand our dog and what she needed. She communicated with daily pictures and updates and was always quick to respond to us. We came home to a happy dog and a very clean house. Would highly recommend her.
Maria was incredible with our dogs. She provided regular updates and even put up with my constant questions...lol. Our dogs were very well taken care of and she took them on regular walks every day with pictures all the time. On top of being great with our dogs, the house was tidy and clean when we returned. I 100% would recommend Maria. We will have no hesitation in booking her again for our next vacation!
Maria was an AMAZING sitter! Our house may have been cleaner than when we left it, she watered the plants and cared for the beta fish as well as providing exceptional care for our Bernedoodle pup. Ruby had been spayed a week prior and Maria needed to provide care that was above and beyond the regular dog sitting duties. We will definitely have her back again!

Availability
My schedule changes throughout the year, and varies week to week. I try to be as accommodating as I can to every unique situation I am contacted with. I try not to leave pets more than 4 hours at a time but I am not always able to accommodate that and sometimes it is a bit longer. I will only leave pets a maximum of 7 hours a day unless I notify you at the time of your booking that I am working or at school an 8 hour day and we agree on that ahead of time. My rates reflect this, as I charge to cover 1-2 30 minute walks a day, be at your place for feeding schedules, and for the addition of watching your house while you are gone and doing any necessary cleaning, shovelling, plant watering, etc. Additional requests are subject to rate increases on a case by case basis.
