Pet care experience
Hi there! My name is Mari (rhymes with sorry), and I’m a grad student here to help you and your fur babies! I am an energetic person who love animals of all kinds. I provide an attentive and loving level of care (as if your fur babies are my own!), and keep up with any rules you have for your pet (no couch, no human food, strict diets, etc)! I like to base my care on the clients - no pet/pet owners are the same, and everyone has their preferences on how to care take of their fur babies (I know I do!). So going through a thorough run down of what you’d like, how the fur babies are, what a typical day looks like, etc is my game plan. I totally understand when people have to leave town or have crazy busy days, and there’s that worry about leaving your pets at a boarding place - it makes me nervous myself. So I’m here to help ease that fear and make them (and you) more comfortable!

Mari did a great job checking in on my cat Biscuit. She dealt with many changes to my schedule and provided updates everyday. Biscuit warmed up to her super quickly!
Mari was a wonderful sitter! Great updates of how our cat and fish were doing and lots of pictures every day. We will definitely consider her in the future. Highly recommend!

We were very nervous to leave our new baby kitten for the first time, but Mari was a huge relief! Very kind, responsive, timely, great with animals, and helpful. She’s great with both cats and dogs, so we knew we were leaving him in good hands. We will definitely be using her as much as we can in the future. Very happy with our first rover experience!

No breed preferences (I love all animals!), but just let me know if there is anything I should be aware of - doesn’t get along with other animals, gets too excited seeing another dog or person, any health issues, any typical or mischevious things to look out for, anything they can’t have or anywhere they’re not allowed to go, etc. I know it can be scary trusting someone else with your fur-baby so the more information you can provide me - even on the smallest things - is much appreciated!
A typical day
Let me know if there’s a certain path you typically take for your doggy! I know my dog is super picky about staying on the same course every time, and he loves to stop every few minutes to sniff out everything. With my dog and clients’ dogs, I typically do walks, fetch, hide and seek, and belly rubs for fun!

Availability
I am currently in grad school so my schedule is flexible. I am currently open for multiple drop-ins and dog walks every day. I am also open for boarding and house-sitting, but the availability for those are based around my class schedule.
