Pet care experience
I have 5 years of dog owner experience with my sweet rescue pup, Cooper. He was a chow, lab, retriever mix, so we walked and played daily, and frequently went on long runs or hikes to get energy out. Since Cooper, I have loved dog sitting for friends, especially taking them on walks, giving snuggles and belly rubs, and brushing them. I am a distance runner and enjoy bringing dogs with me as running buddies! I am also a teacher during the week, so I am mainly available evenings for walks during the week, and on weekends for drop in’s or overnight stays. If your dog is able to be home during the work day (about 9 hours), I would also be able to do overnight stays during the week based on location.

Mari was great. The last three days of nine day stay our Bella became sick. Mari went far far beyond what we requested and expected. All rovers we used before were great, but Mari best.
Mari did a great job taking care of my dog Buddy. She was very conscientious and wonderful about sending updates. She was willing to stay overnight at my house and left my place just the way I left it. Would definitely hire her again in the future.
Our dog, Wic, can be a little difficult when you first meet him - he's pretty wary of strangers. Mari broke the ice with him within minutes. We received several photos during her one night stay in which Wic was happily playing and snuggling and generally enjoying his time. Mari did an amazing job and we would recommend her to anyone!
Mari is one of the most kind and considerate people I know! She has watched my dog on several occasions when I have been out of town, and I know he is in the absolute best hands when he is with Mari. Highly recommend her!
