Hello everyone, I am 22 years old and I am a Veterinary medicine student! I love my degree but definitely miss my animals while I am at university so would love to play, walk and care for other peoples animals. I have lots of experience working with a range of animals and their individual quirks and previously worked as a patient care assistant in a veterinary hospital. From a young age I have always been surrounded by animals and they are a very important part of my life. In my family home I own a very excitable Labrador who thinks he is still a puppy, even though he is 12 years old. I also own two cats with both the cats and dogs getting on very well. I care for all my animals whether this is taking the dog for a nice long walk or giving prescribed medication, flea / worming treatment. I have also successfully trained family friends dogs and dog sat puppies. I have experience with elderly dogs and specifically older dogs with arthritic problems (which my Labrador also suffers with) so am able to care for any of their needs or owners requests when caring for their dog.
