Pet care experience
I've had dogs my whole life, there's nothing I wouldn't do for my dog :) I have a Chesapeake Bay Retriever named Ruby who is 12 years old and a little cutie 13 year old Cat named The Tinman. I recently lost my sweet but highly reactive other pup to cancer. We made the most of life though, completed behavioural training, and even got a novice trick dog title with him before he passed away. Because of my experience with my sweet reactive boy, I have a special interest in training and am happy to do so with your dog as well as engaging activities, a casual walk as buddies, or just be a gentle caring companion for your dog. I LOVE working with dogs and seeing them change for the better so don't be afraid to ask if there's anything you think would benefit your pup!
Reviews
Margret is amazing with dogs. She is so kind and patient. Kaia very much enjoyed her walk with Margret. Kaia has some issues with reactivity and Margret is so knowledgeable in dealing with this issue. felt 100% comfortable with her taking Kaia on a walk. Will definitely want Margret for more walks!
Margret is a dedicated/loving dog owner herself, and treats every other dog she meets as if they’re her own. I couldn’t think of a more trustworthy person to care for my dog than Margret!

Safety, trust & environment
I believe in the importance of safety and comfort for your pet. I will respect your boundaries and your pets as well and be very communicative about how our visit went. I am happy to help with care of your pets such as cleaning dog dishes/water bowls, brushing, giving meds and cleaning ears (if supplies provided). Dogs will only be taken to the off leash park if behaviour and recall are at 100% and I believe your dog's demeanour is suited for that environment. I am happy to bring my long line for decompression/sniff walks (no retractable leashes) if your pup's behavior permits (not excessive pulling, well mannered)
