Pet care experience
I’ve had almost about every pet sitting experience under the sun! I used to pet-sit two senior golden doodles and would cook their raw food over the stove. So I am experienced in high-maintenance dogs 😂 I also just am grateful for the company of your pet. I think one’s animal is the extension of their soul, and they should be treated with the utmost respect. I love throwing their favorite toy, cuddling with them on the couch, or simply just going on a nice long walk to clear the mind. I will treat your dog with respect just as if it were my own. I have a 2yr old shih tzu named Cleo at home who is well trained, and she’s my little Pokémon.

Margot is the most caring dog owner I have met. She is extremely attentive and nurturing while also providing structure for any pups she encounters.
My dog Papi loved margot right away. Papi sometime gets anxious with new people. But Margot was warm and gentle energy made my pup feel more then safe. I could tell when I got home that Papi felt well taken care of. Margot is punctual when walking the dogs, so kind a friendly, and 12/10 communication skills. She is my go to person for pet sitting or dog walking.
I have had my dog for a little over 2 years and Margot has been there every step of the way. She has been phenomenal ever since our little family met her and there’s no way I’d trust anyone else w the car of my dog but Margot. She is kind hearted, patient, and above all she loves my Chapo very much. I recommend her to anyone looking for a real and genuine dog sitter.

I’ll always follow your instructions, but I’ll also listen to your pet and what they’re “telling” me. Things like barking cues and body language at important to me. I’m always self aware, know where my dog is at all times and with my apartment being clean and cozy, I don’t have to worry about them getting into anything. I also love to have silly play time in between meetings with my dog, so I’ll make sure to do the same with yours.

Every pet is different - written instructions, from their feeding schedule to quirks that are important to know about their day are really important for me to take care of your pet properly. Allergies, things that make them freak out, etc. are good things to know.
A typical day
Love to play and throw a toy for them to fetch! Outside or inside. Anything to get their heart rate going a little bit, so they can get a bit of exercise. I live within 10 minutes walking of many Capitol Hill parks.
