Dogs <3 me as much as I <3 them!

Pet care experience

After a Rover break to become a Child Life Specialist, I’m super exited to be back & looking forward to hanging with your pets! I have been loving dogs since E.T. our black lab came into my life when I was 3yrs old. I have worked and volunteered w dogs in different capacities for over 15 years now. I have most experience with walking large breed dogs, care for senior dogs, basic training and socialization and giving lots of love, treats & cuddles. I am as happy to take your puppy on outdoor adventures, as I am staying at home cuddling with your senior dog. I am flexible, very active, friendly and outgoing, professional, a great communicator, & always like to go the extra mile w a smile. I currently live w my boyfriend and our furry kid, Pepino an 8yr old 7lb Chihuahua, in a big light filled home w a fenced backyard. I am happy to care for any type of behavior/condition as long as it is not aggressiveness towards humans & animals.

Margot is a wonderful sitter! She is super sweet and an excellent pet parent as well, making sure the conditions were good for both us and her cutie pie, Pepino, which was so nice with our dog Sherlock. Sherlock felt it was home almost immediately. He is typically shy but he did open us with them very quickly and enjoyed a lot this stay, playing in the yard, walking around and even watching the Warriors game with the whole family on the couch. Also, she was flexible and able to accommodate us in a short notice, and did not mind that we had an unfortunate heavy traffic delay when picking up (due to the Warriors game). I wholeheartedly recommend Margot and would absolutely love to use her services again!

I’ve known Margot for over ten years and in this time, she has watched and taken care of all my pets. The first thing that comes to mind when I think of Margot is animal lover. Not only does she have extensive training in caring for animals through places like PAWS, but also a unique ability of being in tune with animals and understanding what they need. In general, Margot is a kind and loving individual, which is exemplified in her care and connection with all furry creatures! I would whole heartedly recommend her to anyone to watch their pet!

Margot is truly amazing with dogs and cares more about their well-being than most other humans I have encountered. As a single-person and dog-owner, I feel so lucky to live next door to Margot - she makes me feel like I have the "Village" needed to care for my dog when life is tricky. My elderly dog-friend is prone to bouts of pancreatitis, which can lead to in-patient hopsitalization. Margot was scheduled to look after my dog when I was scheduled for a business trip (that I was absolutely unable to cancel). An hour before I had to leave for the airport at 5:30a.m., my dog started the tell-tale frothy vomit that often precedes a bout of illness. Margot had no fear - she took my dog despite the potential impending health crisis, followed all of the instructions with medication and feeding to a "T", and sent me regular updates on status, with details and photographs (including of a stool that looked particularly concerning!) so I could determine if it made sense for my Furry Friend to be rushed to the hospital. For the next two days, Margot continued to send me updates and would login for video chats in the evenings so I could see how my dog looked outside of static images until I returned home. Ling Ling made it through beautifully which I attribute entirely to Margot's care, support, and attention to detail. Her ability to keep me calm during my work-travel-dog-health-meltdown crisis was a magical bonus!

I have known MARGOT for close to 2 decades now. She is a very warm, generous and caring individual. She’s always been super kind and thoughtful with humans but when it comes to animals... she cares to the maximum! From volunteering at shelters, fostering doggos, to being a pet parent herself MARGOT has loved and cared for animals in many ways! She is responsible, playful and always keeping in mind their health and safety. I would definitely recommend MARGOT as pet sitter and/or dog walker. You fur babies will be in excellent care and you will also get photos or videos too!
