Pet care experience
I have had dogs & (horses 25 yrs). I retired last year, moved to Peoria, IL & I miss having a dog. Thought I could earn some income & exercise like I use to with my dogs. 4-5 miles walked every day! Rain, bitter cold (booties on my dogs paws). It made my dogs so happy to get out, they were calmer, relaxed & healthy. My 3 dogs had since they were puppies & (1) lived to 18 years, 15 years &13 years! Dogs benefit so much from exercise, brisk walk, jogging, playing with them. I am very focused on the care & well being of animals. I had dog walkers when I traveled for work & had a specific list of walking, foot, medications or vitamins. Washing their dish & fresh water each time they came. Never hesitate to call me & my vet, etc. I will take good care of your dog by adhering to what your specific requests are. Thank you

I had 3 English springers spaniels but also had mixed breeds. But I lean towards the hunting breeds, labs, retreivers etc. Probably because they love to be outside! But I really enjoy all dogs, puppies are so fun! But I have had senior dogs as mentioned above. So there is something so sweet about older dogs, warms my heart.
A typical day
If it is a 30 minute walk, most likely in the neighborhood since driving somewhere would not give your dog the best utilization of exercise time. Or perhaps you have a large yard and would prefer just playing with them in the yard. Again, I would leave that up to you, what you prefer. Of course, a lot of talking to them and human touch! Attaboy or Attagirl :)
