Pet care experience
I grew up on a dairy farm, so learned young to talk to the cows as I milked them. We always had a Collie dog as children playing along side us. I was reintroduced to living with a dog when I helped care for my son's boxer/bull dog for 4 years. I realized that having a dog around gave me the excuse to once again baby something since my kids were grown. I am a walker, and find having a furry friend makes my walks more interesting and purposeful. I am conscientious in my work, and understand what your pet means to you, and will treat your dog as my own.

Usually I only have 1 dog, unless I check with you first. The dog is welcome throughout our house, and I will allow them to sleep in our bedroom either in their crate or beside my bed. I like to walk, so bring them out frequently for potty and exercise.

I prefer watching smaller dogs 30 pounds or under. I've watched elderly dogs, and they seem relaxed in my home. Special details about your dog's likes or dislike that can be provided to me are welcomed.
A typical day
I walk in all weather conditions and will bring your dog out as often as they want to go. Most of the dogs I watch like to hang out in the kitchen with me during the day. I will throw balls or toys with them. I will only bring them out on a leash because want to make sure I protect your dog.

Availability
I am home full time caring for my son other than Wednesday & Saturday mornings when I am gone for 3 hours. We do not have a dog, so your dog instantly becomes my dog in our home. Because I am around, I am able to give your dog plenty of attention and bring them out for potty as needed.
