We love welcoming dogs into our home. I work in the legal profession and I primarily work from a home-based office in the company of the best assistant in the world, my fur baby Piper. I only accept doggy visitors on days when I will be home full-time. My husband is home on evenings and weekends. We have an adorable miniature poodle named Piper. She is 7 years old. She is up-to-date with her vaccinations. She loves having playmates over for a visit. Other poodles, poodle mixes, and terriers tend to be her favourite visitors. She is sometimes intimidated by large dogs and dogs that are very high energy (e.g., border collies), so we can only take small to medium sized dogs. We have a 4 year old son who is used to being around dogs, so it is essential that any doggy visitors must get along with young children. I have owned dogs most of my life (poodles, cocker spaniels, and Dandie Dinmont terriers). My husband and I have completed obedience training with Piper. We have a fenced-in backyard. I take Piper (along with any visitors she has) for a 30 minute walk at lunch and another 60 minute walk in the evening. We are located in Innisfil near Lake Simcoe Public School.
