Pet care experience
I've always loved dogs and have taken care of them since I was 15 years old. This was mostly for my neighbors, teachers, and family members. I would take them out for walks, brush them, or just give them company. People I have worked for characterize me as caring, patient, and attentive to details. I make sure to know what the dog needs and what are the rules and needs for the dog and owner. I pay attention to the boundaries set by the owner and will abide by them. I enjoy taking care of your dog the way you see fit and creating a comfortable environment for them. I like to have clear and open communication to be told what you need to reassure your dog is safe and what will keep you at ease! I have experience taking care of older dogs and completely adore them I enjoy their slower pace and have patience for them, so that should not be a worry. Recently, I have been around more puppies and I enjoy their energy, sweetness, and even their rambunctious moments.

Maggie was so amazing with my dachshund Frieda! Frieda is a senior dog so she doesn't have much energy and rarely wants to come out of the house. At the time, the vet had recommended light exercise for Frieda, but she was really stubborn. Maggie did an excellent job at motivating her to do small walks around the block every day. I couldn't even do that. Frieda bonded with her incredibly easily and Maggie was patient in getting to know Frieda. I would highly recommend Maggie for her extensive experience working with senior dogs and will be booking her again.

Since I am not able to take care of a pet inside my own home due to apartment regulations I would mostly take care of your dog at your home I like to know the boundaries and rules that owners have surrounding myself and their pet. I also like to ask questions on what their pet's needs are as well as what treats should be administered when; what skills to work on; what triggers does the dog have; where to find groooming tools, baggies, and even what pathways does the dog enjoy; and what type of activities the dog enjoy. I like to follow the exact needs of the pet, and feel free to always let me know.

I love to know what quirks, triggers, and behaviors your dog has so I can make them as comfortable as possible. You can teach me what medicines they need and what to take. Always let me know what allergies they might have as well as how to calm them down and whether they should walk without any dogs around or if they are very sociable. What places they enjoy. If I should apply sunscreen on them or have them wear booties. I usually interact calmly and quietly so that I do not overwhelm them. I want to make sure they have a good time!
A typical day
I am very patient so I love stopping for whatever dogs smell and playing games that stimulate them. They can walk as long as they want to tire themselves out and rest. I love walking around the reflection pools of the Clark and especially enjoy doing the small hikes. Since I work and live at a school the grounds there are beautiful and very fun for dogs to explore.

Availability
I am a teacher so usually the school year is a hectic, but mostly flexible time. Summer is when I'm most free and able to do different times of the day. Mornings, afternoons, and early evenings are times that I am available. I Love walking them around, having some play time, brushing them, even feeding them, and then taking them out.
