Pet care experience
I adopted my first dog, Dolly, 2 1/2 years ago. It's been a journey! She was very reactive, fearful, and anxious (as well as sweet and loving) when I brought her home, particularly on walks and with strange dogs and sometimes people. We've worked every day for the last almost three years to build our relationship - she's learned how to play (and is a great frisbee dog but also loves a game of tug), how to walk (somewhat nicely) on leash, and how to do many tricks and commands (sit, down, stay, spin, pretty, middle, high five, speak, quiet, and place). Most importantly, she's become much more confident and curious about the world around her. And I've become confident in walking, living with and caring for, and training all kinds of dogs, including those with reactivity.

Margaret is the best!!!!
Always takes such good care of our cats! ☺️
Peggy was so good with my cat, Percy! She sent updates and photos during every visit, and she was extremely flexible and communicative with me! 5-stars & a repeat customer here ⭐️
Margaret was great with my cat and was very prompt and reliable in her visits. She provided nice updates each time she dropped in, and I’d definitely book again in the future!

I have a fenced in yard and am happy to take lots of walks! My dog can still be a bit nervous around dogs she's not familiar with, but she warms up eventually. I'm happy to crate and rotate with her (I find she's most comfortable in her crate when being introduced to new dogs and people).

Information margaret s. would like to know about your pet
I'd love to know if your dog has any particular triggers (kids, other dogs, cars, bicycles, scooters, etc.), any food allergies, and any special needs or quirks!
A typical day
I love to take my own dog to Middletown Township Delco Open Space Preserve, Ridley Creek State Park, and Newlin Grist Mill Park (she loves playing in the creek!). I also like to provide enrichment for her in the form of food puzzles - she'll eat her meals out of scrunched up towels, chew on a bully stick, or I'll freeze a lickimat or a kong.
