I am an energetic compassionate active dog lover. We know being away from your pet can be stressful. We pride ourselves on being your pet's "Home Away From Home" with all of the luxuries of a Pet Vacation your furry friend deserves! What really sets us apart is how friendly and knowledgeable our family is with pets and their needs. We always pamper and spoil our guests as if they were on vacation and try to follow their normal daily routine to keep their stress levels as low as possible. It doesn't take long to learn the routine and start having fun. I have shown and trained dogs professionally since 1998. I am a fan of big (I previously owned Akitas, showed Bernese Mountain Dogs, Portuguese Water Dogs, Terriers etc) and small dogs (previously owned two Shiba Inus and now I have a Bichon Frise). I believe in consistent calm but dominant behavior and dogs naturally love and trust me. The highlight of my professional handling was when I was flown to Milan, Italy to show a clients American Stafforshire Terrier to be the first American to win Reserve Best In Show at the Collare D'Oro. I have watched several local dogs (an Akita, a Springer Spaniel, Boxer/Pit mixes, Poodle mix, Shitzu mixes etc) and can provide several local references. I also have hundreds of dog show friends including veterinary references.
