If appropriate I make an effort to include your dog or dogs in my everyday activities. Dogs love to follow me around while I pull weeds, etc... I am an active board member within my condo community and I occasionally have trash pick-up in my community where I engage my working dog breeds to help me find trash to dispose of. "I call this activity "Keeping Longmont Beautiful". Dogs also love it when you are home with them, it doesn't matter what you are doing as long as you are with them, they love to see you dusting or sweeping while hanging on your every word. "Story Time" is another fun activity where I read whatever book I am currently reading out loud to your dogs or cats, they soon become mesmerized and soon fall into a deep sleep. Please realize that dogs or cats can reduce their food intake and can stop eating all to gather this is rare, but can happen. Occasional pet messes are also rare, but just incase, I ask owners to have a pet mess clean-up kit consisting of one bottle of Natures Miracle Stain & Oder Remover, scrubbing brush, rubber heavy dish washing gloves, and flour sack towels. FYI: Single family homes with a fenced in yard for dogs and cats.
