I am an empty nester and have always been surrounded by dogs. Our family pup was with us for 18 years and I adopted my current pup 6 years ago-In addition to my own dog I have 3 granddogs. I love walking, playing and caring for them and want to share my love and experience with others. I have been caretaking my friends and family pets for years. I am reliable and trustworthy and will treat your pup like my own!

Margaret and her home felt like we were leaving Oliver with family. He loved spending time soaking in the sun and meandering her yard while also snuggling on the couch. He loved it, we loved it. It's a great feeling to be able to leave your dog somewhere you completely trust.
Margaret was amazing to work with. We’ve never left our two pups with anyone but family but Margaret created a warm environment and loved on our pups so much. We got pictures letting us know how they were doing and felt so at ease and never worried about them. Would 100% use Margaret again! Very communicative with booking and a breeze.
Margaret was easy to work with, took great care of our pup and we would definitely use her again. She sent pictures and kept us updated and our pup was happy, well taken care of and got along easily with her dog. Would recommend her!
Margaret is exceptionally with my lab, Chloe. Whenever we travel or need care for a day, Margaret has been there for us and Chloe. We know our dog is being taken care of by a loving person who has a natural connection with animals. Knowing you have someone who cares makes leaving your pet with them much easier. I would like to know what your pup likes to do for fun… Fetch, playing tug of war or just hanging out together. On a walk I would like to know if your dog is reactive in anyway and anything I should be aware of… Is your dog child friendly? Is your dog reactive to a certain dog in your neighborhood? Every dog has its own personality, likes and dislikes, knowing a few things about your dog helps the experience be that much more enjoyable!
A typical day
We all need to move, including our pets. I love taking dogs on walks and allowing them some time to go on a ‘sniffari’ to help their brain and promote wellbeing. Lots of pets and positive interaction helps relax and calm your pet while in my care.

My schedule is flexible as I am transitioning to being an empty nester. I am very used to having dogs in my home and taking several dogs for walks at a time as my granddogs come to visit often.
