Pet care experience
I have been a huge animal lover, especially dogs, all of my life. I grew up with a golden retriever who I trained independently in my elementary and teenage years to become a therapy dog. I currently own two dogs of my own, a 90lb chocolate lab who is a therapy dog and competes in dogs sports like dock diving and barn hunt, and a Nova Scotia duck tolling retriever. I also really enjoy training dogs and have been volunteering with a service dog organization for 5 years, training and house sitting these dogs. I have been part time dog sitting and walking dogs locally for 10+ years so please contact me for any references. I look forward to hearing from you and meeting you and your dogs :)

Margaret is amazing with dogs! We met volunteering together as puppy raisers for a service dog organization and she did a great job with the 2 dogs she raised and trained. Margaret has lots of energy, is very loving towards dogs, is very knowledgeable on dog behavior, types of equipment, and will make an excellent sitter and walker for Rover. I enjoying taking dogs on walks around the neighborhood or finding hiking trails in the area. I will follow the dog’s “rules” and am willing to work on daily obedience training. Depending on the animal’s tolerance, I also will perform daily grooming and weekly nail trimming services.
